Temperature and humidity test chamber

General Instruction:

Seasonal differences, different climatic zones – product with good quality must be able to withstand a

variety of temperature and humidity conditions during manufacturing, transport, storage and use.

Climatic test chamber help you to test the influence of temperature and humidity on the properties,

function and lifespan of your products in reproducible, certified and under accelerated condition.

The proposed chamber is designed in order to perform temperature, humidity test. Particularly the

following parameters are controlled:

All above tests can be carried on simultaneously according to the customer combinations.

Note: The temperature changing rate is measured in the outlet of the air

conditioning system, and calculated according to IEC60068-3-5, without load and

heat dissipation.

1.3 Humidity performance:

1.3.1 Humidity range: 10% ~ 98%RH in the range at temperature range +10°C to +90°C

without thermal load;

1.3.2 Humidity constancy: ≤±3%RH;

1.3.3 Humidity deviation: ≤±3%RH@above +25°C, ≤±5%RH@+10°C ~ +25°C;

1.3.4 Dew point temperature range: +4°C ~ +88.0°C without thermal load ;

Note: Above performance described in item 1.2 and item 1.3 are measured at

room temperature at +25°C with empty chamber according to IEC60068-3-5 &

IEC60068-3-6, the control sensor will be located at the outlet of the air

conditioning system.

Chamber Design：

2.1 Chamber body: The insulated test chamber is made of sandwich structure, with internal

stainless steel shell, insulation layer in middle and external steel shell, all the seams will be

TIG welded for internal shell and vapor tight for all fittings;

2.1.1 Exterior chamber wall: Galvanized sheet steel, powder coated light grey RAL 7035,

t=1.5mm;

2.1.2 Interior chamber wall: SUS304, stainless steel plate, t=1mm;

2.1.3 Insulation: polyurethane foam & mineral wool with thickness 120mm, self

supporting construction;

2.1.4 Max. floor load 200kg/m2 approx. (equally distributed);

2.2 Chamber door:

The door is constructed and insulated in the same way as the chamber body. A door

frame heating system prevents icing and condensation at the door frame;

2.2.1 Door: 1 pc, single-wing door, heated, manually operated;

2.2.2 Viewing window on the door:

A multiple-glazed and frame-heated window is installed in each door, at eye-level.

Dimension: W×H=320mm×170mm;

Amount: 1 (one in each door);

Lighting: One LED lamp embedded in the window and isolated by glass from the

inside chamber environment;11

2.3 Standard accessories:

2.3.1 Casters with adjustable feet;

2.3.2 Sockets: sockets will be provided on the chamber wall to provide electrical power

for customer use;

2.3.3 One height adjustable shelf with distribution load capacity up to 40kg each;

2.3.4 Through-hole on the side wall: 1 pcs, Ø60mm, with plug and sealing cap, one in

left wall;

2.3.6 Tricolor status light with beeper;

2.3.7 A pressure compensation system is fitted to the chamber back side wall to prevent

excess pressure and low pressure in the chamber;

Air-conditioning system

3.1 Temperature and humidity conditioning is effected by a heat exchanger, dehumidifier

coils, electric heaters, steam outlet and fans installed in the test chamber. Intensive air

circulation and uniform air distribution allows for fast and precise temperature and

humidity conditioning. The heat exchanger serves as evaporator of the refrigeration

system.
