This laboratory uses the air enthalpy difference method to measure the cooling capacity, heating capacity, low-temperature non steady state heating capacity, power consumption of room air conditioning C.O.P.、 Circulating air volume and seasonal energy consumption efficiency. It can be used as a detection device for room air conditioning and an important means of design and development. The laboratory conditions comply with the requirements of GB/T 7725-2004 and JIS B 8615-1.
This laboratory consists of two rooms (indoor and outdoor), each equipped with an air handling unit to control the air condition in each room. In addition, the indoor side contains a set of air volume measuring devices for measuring the air volume and outlet enthalpy of the tested machine. The air volume measuring device includes a static pressure box, a receiving room, nozzles, and induced draft fans.
The measurement method is to install the tested air conditioner in the actual way, control the dry and wet bulb temperatures on the indoor and outdoor sides of the tested unit, measure the temperature, humidity, and air volume of the indoor unit’s inlet and outlet air, and calculate the cooling and heating capacity.
This laboratory can be expanded into a one to three enthalpy difference laboratory (consisting of four constant temperature chambers), which can conduct tests on one to three air conditioners or independently conduct tests on two sets of one to one air conditioners simultaneously.
